SUHBAH

We aspire to facilitate a faith-centric and social space that is caring, non-judgemental and spiritually uplifting.

SUHBAH is our community space which launched in 2018 as a third space. Our aim is to facilitate constructive and enriching conversations in a stimulating environment. We are dedicated to making it an accessible space for all, giving each member of our community, a space where they can freely express themselves and cultivate their learning and spirituality. Our goal is to provide meaningful access to scholarship that will enhance and nurture the growth of one's faith and spirituality. All our efforts are under the supervision of the Imam UK.

Tune in every Thursday at 7 pm (BST) on Zoom for networking and spiritual growth.

Let us grow together as a collective.

SPIRITUAL RETREATS

With the British Muslim population almost doubling between 2005 and 2015 an issue of concern for the Muslim community is that mosques are unable to cater for the essential needs of the Muslim. Only a select number of mosques deliver weekly Jummah sermons in English, evening classes teach the Qur'an recitation and some basics but not enough to suffice the 21st century Muslim.

The Imam UK through its spiritual retreats aims to revive and rejuvenate the love and respect for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, by cultivating spirituality and knowledge on key matters affecting us living in the west. We have held retreats in our overnight, weekend and week-long spiritual camps. Along with fun activities, we aim to deliver thought-provoking discussions around campfires and group workshops that will be engaging and challenging.
