Mufti Yaseen Shaikh has been serving in the capacity of Imam, educator, jurist consult, counsellor, mediator, and speaker in the UK and USA since 2002.


Mufti Yaseen was born and raised in London, UK. After memorising the Quran at Jameah Islamiyah, Kent, Imam Yaseen completed his Alimiyya and Iftaa' at Darul Uloom London under the Notable Hadith and Fiqh Master, Mufti Umar Farooq Luharwi, Shaykh Maulana Muhammad Saleem Nawab, and other great Ulama and Scholars.


Upon graduation, Mufti Yaseen went on to pursue a Masters in Islamic Studies from Birkbeck College, while serving as the Imam of Masjid Quba, Stamford Hill and Head of Islamic Studies at Tawhid Boys Secondary School.


In 2006, Mufti Yaseen moved to the USA to serve as the Imam at the Islamic Association of Collin County for 7 years. He was actively engaged in community building, education, youth and family counselling and interfaith work. In 2013, Mufti Yaseen moved to Baltimore to establish a seminary for Higher Learning, Al-Rahmah Seminary under the umbrella of the Islamic Society of Baltimore, the largest Masjid in Maryland, USA. 


In 2018, Mufti Yaseen relocated back to the UK, and has since been serving at the Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery as Imam, also serving as a Khateeb of Edmonton Islamic Centre and Masjid Ramadan situated in North London.


Having lived and served as an Imam in two different Western Contexts, Mufti Yaseen has a unique observation and perspective on Muslim Life in the West. He is passionate about helping Muslims navigate through the challenges and struggles of daily life while being committed to their Lord and faith.
